My first post....

Its almost a year since my little 'Devil' came to this world after my wife carried her in the tummy for about 9 months. Though its not easy for the pass 11 months taking care of her, there are always moments where she will make you happy.

When she was born on 27th March 2006 at 10.27am, and when i first saw her, i knew that she was my baby when i saw, u guess it, the flat nose that i have.....hahha.... that distinct feature which cannot run away. Was informed that doctor suspect that she have some fluid in the lungs and have to be separated from her mommy and move to a ICU care for the time being. Its really disheartening of me to see my little girl being pushed out in an incubator to the ICU.

After an hour, i was allowed to see her and for the first time, touched her. That really woke me up and send me into a reality that i am really a father now. My feeling was mixed as i dunno really to be happy for there is going to be a burden on my shoulder which will get heavier.........

The first 3 days at the hospital was alright. She did not give much of problem....i guess.....because she was taken care off by the nurse most of the time. Mommy tried to breastfeed her but she doesn't latched on for long. Maybe she simple dun like the taste....oppss....

The first month was tough, got to get up in the middle of the night for at least 2 times to feed her. Its really tough on my wife, cause i continue to sleep most of the time.....hahaha......but i still do my part most of the time if i am able to wake up.....

As she started to grow, she started to get more inquisitive. She is rather alert and always look around. Sometime u can get to catch her smiling even though her eyes were closed and sleeping. That really make you heart warm.

Fast forward, its 11 months now and she will celebrate her first birthday end of this month. She had started to crawl. That really drives you crazy....got to follow her everywhere and she will pull anything thats in her way. Than she started to learn simple sound, now you can hear her calling 'daddy'..... That should melt any daddy's heart.......
